Spanaway Water Company Board of Directors Meetings

The Spanaway Water Company Board of Directors holds its regular monthly meetings on the third Thursday of each month.

As a member-owned water company, we encourage member participation and welcome comments, questions, and feedback regarding matters affecting the company. Members who wish to obtain more information or would like to provide comments to the Board may submit them in advance by emailing customerservice@spanaway-water.org.

Spanaway Water Company Office Closure Schedule – 2026

Please be advised that the Spanaway Water Company office will be closed in observance of the following holidays during 2026:

• New Year’s Day – January 1, 2026
• Martin Luther King Jr. Day – January 19, 2026
• Presidents Day – February 16, 2026
• Memorial Day – May 25, 2026
• Juneteenth (Observed) – June 18, 2026
• Independence Day (Observed) – July 2, 2026
• Labor Day – September 7, 2026
• Veterans Day – November 11, 2026
• Thanksgiving Day – November 26, 2026
• Christmas Eve (Observed) – December 24, 2026
• Christmas Day (Observed) – December 25, 2026

During these closures, office staff will be unavailable; however, water service emergencies can be reported 24 hours a day by calling our emergency line at (253) 531-9024.

Customers are encouraged to make payments online through our website, use the after-hours payment drop box located at our office, or access account information through our customer portal during office closures.

New Hours of Operation Starting Soon

We’re excited to announce an update to our business hours to better serve our customers and community! Beginning January 5, 2026, our office will be open Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

This change allows us to extend service earlier in the morning and later in the evening, making it easier for you to take care of your needs before or after typical work hours.

New Office Hours
🗓 Monday – Thursday: 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
❌ Closed on Fridays

While our Friday office hours will be discontinued, the extended Monday–Thursday schedule provides the same total weekly service time while offering greater flexibility during the week.

Join Us for Our Annual Meeting

Spanaway Water Company’s Annual Meeting of the Membership is just around the corner! This yearly event is an important opportunity for members to stay informed, participate in company elections, and hear updates on the work being done to maintain and improve our water system. This meeting is open to all members which are property owners within our service area. Tenants are welcome but are not allowed to vote.

During the meeting, our management team, Board of Directors and CPA's will provide updates on system operations, financial performance, and ongoing projects. Members will also have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about future plans for the company.

As a member-owned, nonprofit utility, your participation matters. This is your company — and the annual meeting is your chance to stay connected and involved in how we serve our community.
